Paintings

‏The houses I paint are born from a different place.
‏They are not based on any specific architectural structure,
‏but rather on a state of mind,
‏a feeling, or a fragment of memory.
‏Even the landscapes I paint do not depict a real location
‏they ask for a single quiet moment,
‏a place to rest within.

‏I don’t try to document reality.
‏I paint the feeling of a home,
‏or of a landscape,
‏of longing, belonging,
‏memories and childhood.
‏I’m drawn to shifting proportions
‏and color palettes that lead to emotion and connection.

‏I paint in oil.
‏And when I paint,
‏I dive into the colors,
‏mix emotions,
‏spread a state of mind.
‏Hours can pass without me even noticing.
