This cabinet — its shelves weighted with china that's been carefully kept but rarely used — stands in my favorite antique store in Tel Aviv. The same tea sets, the same patient dishes. Objects meant for special occasions that never quite arrived.
I visit this store often. I always stop here.
I photographed it one quiet afternoon and I knew immediately: this feeling needed to live somewhere.
